This 10-day Morocco Tour From Marrakech, starting from Marrakech and Essaouira and ending in Tangier. Along the way, you’ll see incredible places, including Marrakech and Essaouira’s top sights, the Atlas Mountains, and the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. You’ll explore the famous Ait-Ben-Haddou Kasbah, Ouarzazate, Amridil Kasbah, Dades Valley, and Todra Gorges.
In the Merzouga Sahara Desert, you’ll ride camels, watch breathtaking sunsets and sunrises, and sleep in a desert camp. You’ll also take a 4×4 tour of the desert. The journey continues with a visit to Rissani’s traditional market and Erfoud, known for its fossils. You’ll stop by Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and see the cedar forest, home to Barbary macaques.

Your 10 Day Morocco Tour From Marrakech begins with a pickup from Marrakech airport. After a short city tour, you’ll be taken to your riad for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we head west to Essaouira. Along the way, we stop to see goats climbing Argan trees and enjoy scenic views. In Essaouira (formerly Mogador), we explore the fishing port, ancient ramparts with cannons, and the old medina. Overnight stay in Essaouira.
We return to Marrakech for a guided tour of its top sights, including the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque, and the vibrant souks. After lunch near Jemaa El-Fna Square, we visit the Koutoubia Mosque and the beautiful Majorelle Garden. Overnight stay in Marrakech.
We drive through the stunning High Atlas Mountains and Tizi-N-Tichka pass, stopping for breathtaking views. We visit Telouat Kasbah and the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site featured in movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. The day ends in Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Desert,” where we stay overnight.
After breakfast, we visit the Atlas Film Studio and Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate. We continue to Skoura to explore Amridil Kasbah, then drive through the Rose Valley, famous for its annual Rose Festival. Passing through Dades Valley, we admire the dramatic rock formations before reaching Todra Gorges, a stunning canyon. After lunch, we head to Merzouga, where we ride camels into the desert. At sunset, we reach our luxury camp, enjoy traditional Berber music around a campfire, and sleep under the stars.
Wake up early to watch the stunning sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, ride camels back to Merzouga, where your driver will be waiting. Today is all about exploring the Merzouga region, which is full of amazing places like sand dunes, a wild lake, fossil sites, and oases.
We start with an off-road drive to an old eyeliner mine, then visit local nomads in their handmade tents to learn about their lifestyle over a cup of Berber tea. Next, we head to Khamlia village to enjoy traditional Gnaoua music and dance, performed by people with roots in Mali, Sudan, and Niger. After lunch, we take a walk through a palm grove and visit Merzouga’s wild lake, also known as Flamingo Lake. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
After breakfast, we leave the desert and visit Rissani, a historic trading town with a lively souk. Then, we continue to Erfoud to explore a fossil workshop. Driving along the Ziz River, we stop for a beautiful view of the valley.
Lunch is in Midelt before heading to the cedar forest, home to playful Barbary macaques—you can even feed them! Next, we visit Ifrane, a charming town known for its snowy weather and alpine-style houses, earning it the nickname “Switzerland of Morocco.” Finally, we arrive in Fes and drop you off at your accommodation.
After breakfast, we take you on a guided tour of Fes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and a cultural hub. We start at the Royal Palace gate, then explore the well-preserved medieval medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Entering through the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud), we visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Najjarine Fountain, and the famous tanneries. We also stop by the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University, the world’s oldest university.
After leaving the medina, we visit the Jewish Quarter (Mellah) and then head to an old fortress for panoramic views of Fes. Overnight stay in a riad.
After breakfast, we drive to Meknes, another imperial city, where we visit Bab Mansour Gate, the Sahrij Souani Basin, the Royal Stables, the Granary, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
Next, we drive 30 km to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with beautiful mosaics, pillars, and archways.
After exploring the ruins, we continue north through Ouazzane to reach Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue City” in the Rif Mountains, known for its blue-painted streets and buildings. Overnight stay in a hotel.
After breakfast, depending on your flight time, you may have some free time to wander through the beautiful blue streets of Chefchaouen. Then, we drive through the Rif Mountains to Tangier Airport, where your 10-day Morocco tour comes to an end.
