This 10-day Morocco Tour From Marrakech, starting from Marrakech and Essaouira and ending in Tangier. Wake up early to watch the stunning sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, ride camels back to Merzouga, where your driver will be waiting. Today is all about exploring the Merzouga region, which is full of amazing places like sand dunes, a wild lake, fossil sites, and oases.
We start with an off-road drive to an old eyeliner mine, then visit local nomads in their handmade tents to learn about their lifestyle over a cup of Berber tea. Next, we head to Khamlia village to enjoy traditional Gnaoua music and dance, performed by people with roots in Mali, Sudan, and Niger. After lunch, we take a walk through a palm grove and visit Merzouga’s wild lake, also known as Flamingo Lake. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
After breakfast, we leave the desert and visit Rissani, a historic trading town with a lively souk. Then, we continue to Erfoud to explore a fossil workshop. Driving along the Ziz River, we stop for a beautiful view of the valley.
